Hello? Is this thing on?

Oh, yes, I stole that line.  But I only stole (have stolen?) it for a post, not my title.  I’m back in the world of blogging, thanks to two dear friends: my P’s.

By the way, that whole apostrophe up there used to drive me nuts.  I’ve recently learned that it’s actually the accepted way to pluralize a letter of the alphabet, but being Old School, it still drives me nuts.

I call them my P’s now because I haven’t decided yet what to call them: by their real names, their blog names, their hash names, or nicknames.  In any of those cases, I hope my two P’s know who they are: one who very much encouraged me to start blogging again and the other who knew it would be a fantasic Christmas gift to buy me this domain and my host site.

Thus, this enty is dedicated to them.  I have no idea why I stopped blogging.  Okay, that’s a lie.  Huh.  I guess I should go back and erase all of that so y’all don’t think I’m a liar…but perhaps admitting it is close enough to being honest.  I stopped blogging for a few reasons.  First: I didn’t think I had much to say.  I had stopped when I was unemployed and had nothing much to talk about….Okay, that’s not the complete truth either. I had a lot about which to talk (much better than that last sentence fragmant, no?), but I felt very guilty being online blogging instead of online looking for a job instead.

That being said, I’ve been employed for nearly a year now at the best job I’ve ever had.  So that shoots that out of the water. Why didn’t I start back up again?  Laziness perhaps.  I have no idea.  But I mean to honor my P’s and thank them for getting me back out here.  So thank you, my dear men, and that’s all I have to say here.  I’m going to sign this one off now and start another.  And I’m going to ask y’all one more favor: help me to change this to something personal and purple and cheesy and me.
