Maybe I shouldn’t dream afterall?

Posted in: Uncategorized

So on Sunday night I dreamed that I shot somebody. I’ve never dreamed that before and I think I can only attribute it to watching “24” with friends right before going to bed. In my dream, I was protecting friends from something - someone was shooting at us first. My first shot was way off target, so if I hit you or one of you friends, I deeply apologize. My second shot was dead on – quite literally. Heh heh. The only really clear memory I have about this part of the dream is that a) the shooter was bald, and b) he had just fallen at the top of the stairs and was sort of sprawled out on the floor trying to shoot back at me, surprised someone was returning fire in the first place. I’m not quite sure why the bald part is significant but, eh, there you go.

Last night I dreamt of my Dad and it was really really clear but I can’t remember it anymore.
Seriously, I need to think about writing these things down immediately or getting that voice recorder I’ve mentioned (never mind there’s one already on my phone). Come to think of it… what isn’t on my phone?! It’s an alarm clock, a voice recorder, a timer, a map – an ACTUAL PHONE! — and it’s seriously just a little LG that’s almost 2 years old. Which means, of course, that I can replace it cost-free when I renew my phone contract here shortly – and I will renew because Verizon rocks. I have Cingular, too (for work) but I just love My Network. (Shit. They’ve gotten into my brain.) I’ve even turned so many friends and family that way (selfishly motivated, of course) that one cousin has told me I should get some sort of commission. Heh. In any case, I’m not sure I want a new phone when I renew. I can manipulate this one with my eyes closed (a powerful plus for, say, when one’s eyes are dilated –the only thing that would sway me is if in the next few weeks Apple manages to include Verizon on their list of iPhone providers as well. Ahhhh…one can dream.

Farvel fine folks!
