See this street sign? This means that when you are merging, you keep your lane. I repeat: You do not need to shift toward your left to merge because this sign here means YOU KEEP YOUR LANE.
Yes, this message is specifically for the folks who drive 400 South, merging onto I-85 South. You have one of these signs. Really! You do! Keep an eye out for it next time.

January 23rd, 2008 at 10:05 amYeah, and it’s annoying from the merge side, too, isn’t it? I was griping as the one in the lane next to the merger, but I can see the frustration being behind the merger as well).
It’s just like those “Right Turn Keep Moving” signs and what do people do? THEY STOP. Arrrrrrrrgh!
