At our house, we’re all about the Head.

Well now. This was certainly an interesting way to start my day. About quarter to five, I tumble out of bed and stumble to the kitchen (thanks Dolly!), pull open the fridge and find… a head. Interesting way to wake up in the morning, isn’t it?

Needless to say, that “cup of ambition” wasn’t needed as much as it typically is. I was certain awake after this. I should have felt bad for the poor lil Cookie-Monster-Turned-Fruit-Basket but, a) it really is wicked cute and b) I was too busy hyperventilating after finding a HEAD in the fridge. poor lil cookie monster

Said head was actually a gift to my roommate from her boyfriend yesterday – he’d had it sent to work. Awww. And I reckon this was fair payback for when she came down the stairs a couple of days ago, only to be greeted by a big Marsha head. Marsha's back! Heh heh. As I told her this morning, “well done; nicely played!” Naturally, she hadn’t tried to freak me out (just as I hadn’t tried to freak her out)….but somehow I’m feeling a game of “Heads” coming on in our new household.

Happy Tuesdays, folks!

Hey, Did all of you residents of south Chattanooga make it thru last nights storms O.K.?

Thanks Willy! Yeah, we’re ok! I actually jumped in my car and high-tailed it out of there and down to Atlanta about 30 minutes before all hell broke loose. I stayed with a friend, sitting on the couch and drinking dirty martinis all evening. :)

Talked to Deb (HoB) though - she said it was pretty scary. We finally got power back about 7:30 this morning - out nearly 12 hours. Reports are saying it may really have been a tornado - if so, it was only about 4 miles from where we live. She said there was hail almost the size of ping pong balls! All the poor yard flowers are trampled to bits and pieces. :(
