@shell - what you did makes more sense in boycotting (at least to me). It’s more active than simply “just not watching.” Y’know?

WE boycotted the Olympics by simply pretending they are happening this year. No merchandise purchased. No web links clicked. No commercials watched. No one will benefit from our attention. And that’s as far politically as I’m willing to go in someone else’s blog. 8-)

@shell - Although I don’t personally understand how not watching the Olympics is a protest against China, I can still respect others for feeling that way and making that choice. But doesn’t that only work when they actually know when they start so they can actively make the effort to boycott?

We’re not watching them - nor was I aware when they started - as our small wee protest against China and their horrible stance on human rights. China may not know or care that we are actively avoiding them, but we do.

And the tv is in storage while the house is on the market. 8-)

Use the “defrost” function on the nuker for about 90 seconds, then flip it on regular cooking high for another minute. (if you don’t have a defrost button, 50% power) Mine turned out perfectly. :) SmartOnes has one of these, too, that’s just as good that you don’t have to defrost.

Oh, I’m jealous of cool official Olympic clothing. Watch for Allan’s dad - lol! What would he look like?

I tried those sandwiches, but I couldn’t get them to microwave right. The center was still frozen, and something was too done. I tried taking it all apart, but it still didn’t thrill me. How did you make it work?
And yes to the Olympics, and they are awesomely cute mascots. Watch for Allan’s dad being a bike mechanic for any cycling event. Maybe he will give me some of the cool official clothing when he gets back.
